Quit Smoking

The sooner you quit, the better, but later is better than not at all!!!!..
A study was started in 1954 on the smoking habits of 35,000 British doctors. 50 years later, the mortality data for these doctors looks like this:
- Nonsmokers live 10 years longer than smokers
- Quitting at age 30 - 44 is the same as being a non-smoker
- Quitting at age 50 adds 6 years to your life expectancy; add 3 years if you quit at 60.
Recently FDA approved a new drug (CHANTIX)that targets nicotine receptors in one's body and binds to them. This ultimately this diminishes one's craving for cigarette. Please ask your physician for more information if you desire to quit.
