Weight gain and Breast Cancer

Data from a recent study suggest that weight gain during adult life increases the risk of breast cancer among postmenopausal women. Weight loss after menopause decreases the risk of breast cancer!!
Other benefits of weightloss include: improving lipid levels, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels.
Postmenopausal weight loss lowers circulating estrogens which contribute to the increased risk of breast cancer by the constant stimulation of breast cells to the excessive levels.
